| yeah guys, its open to anybody. throw in some ideas. ill consider it. so i can start scheduling races, what cars to use on certain dates, and also purchasing the league slot itself.

| @Scott, i have done Iracing before via Zach's account, I wasn't TOO overly impressed, to me it felt like a graphically enhanced version of nr2k3 with better physics and an awful damage model lol. I am considering getting it around CHRISTmas time. I think it's a cool service in that there's laways a race going on and a server up.

| The damage model ive never been a fan of. But then again 2003 is not realistic either. And of course its what you are accustomed to using. But I have to say if I had to choose in order of preference what games to run:
1. Iracing
2. 2003
3. N4
It is just a solid game all around on so many levels. Its a real as real gets. Why do you think that professional drivers race it. Because its as close to real as you are going to get as far as simulations go.
There is a reason why the simulation is the best out there. People consider it a sim, not a game. Thats how good it is.

| Noone siad it wan't good, i just don't think its as good as the price tag it carries, for the cost to get what i would want for 1 year, i could buy a new G27 and a 32in monitor and still have $$ left. and those seem like purchases that would be more logical right now.

Yes Tim its expensive but at the same time once you have a lot of the tracks and stuff you dont have to dump more money in. plus 1/2 off for new members for a year.
For the amount of money guys spend on xbox games in comparison its not that bad.
I understand the cost being an issue I get it. I didn't like that aspect either, but now that i have some $ invested I havent shelled out dough in over 3 months.

| Ive got the funds to pay for everything, and the iLeague, so im just wanting to know who is willing to cooperate in this project. ill need at least another admin or 2. im going to use some starter cars and tracks for guys who are new, and up and coming. also im going to do Cup series races with fixed setups.
Tim, and Kevin, i would love, and i hope you guys get on iRacing some time. its a lot of fun once you get the hang of it.
Cost may be an issue, for some, i definately understand. ill see what i can do to make it cheaper to race, like using starter tracks at first like i said. and starter cars.
It'll take a little time till we're ready for Cup cars, and open setups.
i will put up test sessions before we start racing.

| JB... i can think of 5 things right off hand that are cheaper, Bird Watching, Model Building, Astronomy, Camping and of course Beer drinking are all cheaper per year lol, that said it is more or less cheaper than even the cheapest class or real world racing.

| I never said it was bad, i do like the sim and it is very solid all around, and like i have said before, now that ive upgraded my computer to handle it better im considering getting it
