| Hello, I'm new in this game and on this page 
I wanted to ask how I can edit .CAR files and how I can create new ones
And if the .CAR file doesn't offer this how I can edit skins in gimp or photoshop (I'm pretty good with gimp so I only have to know how I can edit the files)

| Using the game itself is the only surefire way to create and edit car files directly. However to paint cars, one can uses the templates in photoshop with the carviewer and viewer files (see the downloads section) to create a image file (.tga or .bmp) which can then be saved to the NASCAR Racing 4 / exports folder, and then in the game paint shop, one can import the file onto the car.
