So I have another computer besides the one I race on and yesterday I went to power it up and it after the dell logo appeared a black screen showed up and a white underscore was blinking in the top left corner of the screen and Windows never started up. Someone told me this could be the hard drive, but what they didn't tell is what's wrong with it? Also is there a chance the data can be recovered from the hard drive( haven;t had one of these problems in a while so I don't remember lol. ) "When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.” John Lennon

Also the diagnostics test says that everything passed so I'm confused.
Added (13-June-22, 10:45 AM) --------------------------------------------- Fixed there was a virus on the computer that may have corrupted something on the hard drive, but all the data was still there.
