What happened to the Shout Box?

| I went to the Shout Box this on the main page for the server IP for the category of Wednesday Cup Series in Pocono Speedway 2012 and look it was gone and was replaced by ESPN News, Does anyone know about this?

| While i agree the shout box shouldnt go. I also agree with the proper use. Seeing 10 posts in a row by one person telling a pay pal story is stupid. I do like to come on from time to time to see the shout box and whats the convo of the day. Etc
It probably shouldn't be taken off.

2nd. If you want to get mad, get mad at the people who started fights in the shout box, posted novels, posted pictures of pornstars and random ppl, the ppl who posted random links, the ppl who
3rd. everyone had a chance to say something but noone showed up for the meeting to say anything against it.
4th. The shoutbox is only gone for a week, it will likely be back BUT if ppl keep doing all the bullshit there will be Large consequences, the shout box is not a playground and it is not a place to wage petty wars about anything.
and to Tony, it was not a few ppl, it was at least 8 ppl and you were one of them.

| Im sorry for posting a picture of a black guy from a band and a picture of my favorite blonde. I was just trying to brighten someones day. Obviously not Tim's.... I missed the race too cuz i asked and they said it so fast and it just wasnt worth it. The shoutbox is needed and i dont feel like we abuse it that much. But i think messages should be kept short and sweet. And no pictures really of course

| At least you agree with my thought Dalton, maybe now ppl will notice, because saying ti nicley did nothing, also IPs don't need to be in the shoutbox, we have TS where it should be posted anyway (not that it mattered last night as the server crashed 17 laps in).
I am curious to see how much of the normal shoutbox spam shows up in the forum where it belongs.
Also if it does come back, there will be a capche to post, a 50 character limit, and other limits to keep bullshit off the homepage.
The shoutbox is not for converstations, TS and the forums are, the shoutbox should be for urget info, such as server outages, TS issues, last min issue, etc. Not for telling us what you ate for lunch, how you overdrew your paypal, what you got for X-mas, Download links, or other items which should be either discussed on TS or Posted on the Forums.
