World renowned short track racer Steve Inkman has finally earned his shot at racing in a top-tier series. At 45 years old, Steve has won an estimated 1000+ races across local short tracks on dirt and asphalt in the Mid-West, New York, and Southern United States. He is currently ranked at #6 in the country, just shy of the #1 ranking he has maintained through the 2000's. "It is finally time to take that chance." says Inkman. "Daytona is the powerhouse of speed, and I need to be part of the show while I'm still competitive." He will start last in the event, but look for him to stay in the draft and earn his dues against the top-dogs of Bonanza.
