In the Busch Bonanza Series, there are no provisionals. Every driver has to qualify on time, and there were three Championship contenders who were down on speed and failed to make the field at Daytona. Stephen Lowe, Bink Lucas and Dwight York all failed miserably in their qualifying attempts and were not present for the What's For Dinner 300. This week, Brian Lowe misses the field at Richmond after a near-spin entering turn 1 destroyed his qualifying lap. A devastating blow after finishing 2nd last week. The competition remains strong for the 3/4-mile tri-oval, with Extravaganza drivers John Battista, Zach Michael, Tony Pizzaro and William Perry making the show. Can anyone defeat the ringers?
