We are going to keep a close eye on drivers who do not follow the pit regulations for the next 3 Speedway Cup Series events. If you are in violation of the pit rules, please give back the time gained from the violation. If not it will be subject to penalty. I know some drivers do not use Teamspeak, so we will try to inform you guys once during the practice session and once during the warmup session on what the pit rules are. The purpose of these regulations are to eliminate accidents that may be caused coming into and out of the pit lane.

Violations include merging too early, entering or exiting the pits through the grass, and slowing down for pit road under green without warning (extra emphasis on this).

 

Pit rules broken once - loss of 1 point

Pit rules broken twice - loss of 5 points

Pit rules broken 3 times - loss of 15 points

 

These are the pit rules for the final 3 Speedway Cup Series events:

Michigan - Enter out of 4, Exit on Backstretch

Charlotte - Enter out of 4, Exit on Backstretch

Talladega - Enter after 4, Exit when Clear
