The Super Lates had a large field of cars for Week 7 of 17 cars. The race started off as a real door slammer with a lot of contact mid pack until the first yellow. After a number of minor incidents, there was a large crash near 10 to go which setup a late race restart. From the final restart Budzien took the lead and never looked back, with the NORL drivers finishing 3rd and 5th.
