57 drivers made a qualifying attempt for the Bonanza race at Martinsville tomorrow. Second in points Logan Sheets and 2020 Champion Mark Heron spun out entering turn 3 on their first laps. Sheets smacked the outside wall. Heron drove backwards and made an attempt on his second lap, finding himself 45th on the grid on flat-spotted tires. Richmond winner and 6th in points Chad Glass missed the show by less than a hundredth of a second. Daytona winner De Sa was off pace on both laps, struggling to keep the car on the bottom and get bite off of the corners. Meanwhile, Steven Spears, Zach Michael, Scott Drake, Kevin Corbat and Rob Scarberry take their spots on the grid and fight for the reigns of first Extravaganza regular to win in 2021.
