Qualifying Results

Tim McDonnell maintains his points lead after a masterful performance last week at Michigan. He went from crashing to an ultimate run through the field to capture his 9th-straight top-20 finish of the season. Winner Dave Miller has 8-straight top-20's and has quietly loomed into the points race. The two favorites coming in are Johnny Reed Foley and Rick Jackson. Rick has recorded the most top-5's pf anybody all season, while Foley is is looking for his first. Let the pieces fall where they may and expect another hardcore showdown at Talladega!

Rob Scarberry is in the midst of a historic pace. In the 7 races he's qualified for so far, he has finished 23nd or 26th 6 times. In the Busch Bonanza Series, he is 2 for 2 in finishing 3rd. Talladega will be the third event he has DNQ'd for as he remains in "Provisional Limbo" for a second straight season.
