It's official. Brodrick Wittmann will be sitting out for three weeks after this week's event at Dover Downs. His aggressive driving at Talladega caused two wrecks, with the Dan Johnston incident deemed premeditated and outwardly intentional. Extravaganza driver Ken Pettit referred to the incident as "pure lack of wisdom" and that "a penalty was necessary for the integrity of the series." Johnston's teammate Craig Lee quoted "Spiderman (Philip Parker) looked like Harrison James compared to that greased sandwich on wheels. If they need a better rep have Jared race the car." It remains unknown whether Twisted Metal Racing will announce a new driver for the upcoming weeks.
