On Lap 135 of the Darlington Rebel 400, three-wide contact off of the 2nd corner between Brodrick Wittmann and Steven Spears sent all three cars slamming into the inside concrete barrier. The #12 ford's impact was so hard that the car was sent flipping, rolling end-over-end 18 times in only 7 seconds before coming to a stop near the entrance of turn 3 on his roof. He was immediately extricated from the car and put on a gurney, and sent to the McLeod Medical Center by ambulance. We are informed that he is in stable condition and is communicating to the medical staff. We will forward more information when it becomes available.
