The blistering steam from Mount Vesuvius pales in comparison to the young-guns of Extravaganza! Their dominance initiated with a Wizards of Speed dictatorship in April, sweeping Darlington, Bristol and Talladega. From there, a stunning but controversial victory by Ziggy Moonglow in the Coca-Coca 600 sent the Bepis Rep. for a ride! He attempted to block victory lane, citing his name-sake sponsorship into forcing Extravaganza to give him more horsepower. Ziggy ran him over, sending him into a makeshift palm tree as coke-colored confetti covered his epidermis. Tony Gunk's victory in June was the biggest upset since Mark Guthrie at Bristol, taking new tires on a late-race caution to pull off the miracle! Since then, the veterans took over, with a final Molemar Diggs victory at Pocono to end their reign. Despite the overwhelming success, none of these drivers are inside the top-20 in points, keeping the veterans' pride in tact as they steam-roll to their usual Championship bids.
