19 drivers fight for $2,000,000! The pole-sitters of 2025 stand on the infield, waving to the frontstretch crowd. Logan Sheets earned his first Bud Shootout entry by sweeping the Charlotte time-trials, hoping to bring Quaker State back to vogue. "We threw oil accessories into the crowd!" said crew chief David Rattler. "A seven-foot man caught three oil cans and a funnel." William Perry hopes to rebound after his Chicagoland injury, with Scott Jackson ready to relief-drive.

Lucas Racing occupies the front row, hoping to revitalize their Superspeedway glory! The green flag waves with Adam Crapser atop the heap, getting passed by two-time Champion Johnny Reed Foley before completing the first lap. Teammate Alex Crapser took the helm before "Marlboro Man" Dave Miller dove to the inside with help from Danger Zone teammates Zach Michael and Markell Murphy. He would lead through lap-6.

A three-wide cavalcade at the front! 2025 Bud Shootout winner Craig Lee takes the top-spot, leading the field through lap-12 before Jeremy Hebel, William Perry and Logan Sheets rotated the top-spot in a carousel of the Gods! The rotisserie would fail to last, with John Battista's #39 Wendy's Lucas Racing Chevrolet pulling to the front. He would tow the line through the halfway point, stretching the field with his Tony Tonto prepared powerplant.

Battista's brute speed left Ken Pettit and Dakota Wilkins out of the draft! NOS Energy teammates Ryan Heuser and Craig Lee teamed up to pass the #39, only for Battista to te-take the position just before green flag stops. He, Zach Michael, William Perry, Adam Crapser, Craig Lee, Johnny Reed Foley and Matt Raboin all came in on lap-31, with Battista and Perry getting the edge by taking slightly less fuel than the rest.

The following lap saw Logan Sheets, Timothy McDonnell, Alex Crapser, Zakk Miler, Markell Murphy, Chaucney Redmond Jr., Ryan Heuser, Dave Miller, Jeremy Hebel and Alan Nesfeder dive into the pits. Sheets and McDonnell merged with Battista and Perry on the backstretch, gapping the second-pack by two-seconds with Johnny Reed Foley leading the charge. Amazingly, the #39 pulled the four-car pack away from the swarm, racing it out amongst themselves for the final ten-lap shootout.

McDonnell and Sheets fought valiantly for the second-position with William Perry riding it out, still suffering rib-pain from his accident at Chicagoland. They caught the lapped car of Ken Pettit with 6-to-go, forcing Battista to blip off the gas and get Logan Sheets through. Battista dropped to the rear, ready to charge for a final two-lap excursion! He flew past Perry, McDonnell and Pettit on the final lap, with the Quaker State #58 three car-lengths ahead on the backstretch. It was enough to mount a charge, diving underneath sheets off of turn-4 in a side-by-side battle for $2,000,000! Sheets had enough high-line momentum to beat Battista to the line, earning the Quaker State #58 their first career victory!

Logan Sheets and the Quaker State #58 go 1-for-1 in the Big Bud Shootout! Their first ever start in the big event puts them $2,000,000 up on the field, waving their massive check like a monkey waves a coconut husk after a good drink. "David Rattler got me here" said Sheets. "If it wasn't for his strife and determination, we would still be on the farm eating un-ripe tomatoes and getting trapped in chicken wire. God bless Extravaganza!"
