John Battista and Tony Pizzaro need a win! The duo won back-to-back races in 2024, capitalizing at Watkins Glen and Richmond before a barren slate in the victory column. Battista's earned 19 top-5 finishes during his 53-race winless streak, finishing runner-up at Phoenix, Pocono, Sonoma, Richmond and New Hampshire. Amazingly, four of those five were lost to "Rocket Man" Ryan Heuser! Heuser's #138 Quick-Silver Chevrolet won 12 events during the same span, hoping to re-capture their glory from last years' Southern 500. Here's how they compare in the last 53 events:

Young guns Molemar Diggs, Trae Larkin, Jeremy Hebel and Steven Spears earned top-5 finishes in last years' Rebel 400! This year, three of the four struggle to find speed, with Spears as the ultimate outlier. A career-best stretch of five-straight top-21's! His sixth-place finish at Martinsville catapulted the #65 Mello Yello Team Danger Zone Mustang inside the top-20 in points. Hebel finished directly behind in seventh, earning his first top-20 finish, struggling at the high-horsepower tracks. Larkin ended a three-out-of-four streak finishing outside the top-40, with Diggs just a few points ahead of 36th-place Ken Joynt. Expect for Darlington to be their turn-around track.
