This week at Sparta, Jimmie Stevens won his first N.O.R.L. race since August 6th, 2013 at Daytona Night. Since then, Speedy has won a Speedway Cup Championship, two non-career-stats Shootout Series races, and over 400 total laps led. His long hiatus began shortly after his Championship season last fall. We've seen him struggle in the few races he ran since then, but Speedy proved that he remains in Championship form after his dominating performance last Thursday. Speedy led 50 laps in 117 laps, becoming the 9th different winner in the last 10 N.O.R.L. events!
The Tuesday Pick a Winner Series is off to Zen Joltis 2012 for the last race of the inaugural season. Tony Pizzaro has a 7-point lead over 6-time winner Ryan Heuser. Along with winning the most races, he has increased his led-lap total to 416 after a dominating Martinsville performance. Tim McDonnell is the only other driver who has a chance, but it's difficult to say if he's religious enough for the N4 heavens to be on his side.
