In the wake of Tim McDonnell's second career championship with crew chief Yogi Arnoux, the #22 team will move to Volkswagen in an attempt to become the first european car Champion. McDonnell cited the change as "lack of factory support from the Honda company". In the #29 shop, everything remained in tact after five straight top-16 finishes to finish the 2019 season. Budweiser stayed on board, as well as crew chief/team manager G.G. Sphere. More importantly, Ben Geer is still the driver, and looks to win his first race since Michigan in 2017.
