The Race-2-Win stable persevered through the engine troubles of the #12 team to still field two drivers into the chase. Rick Jackson was two positions from winning the championship after a torrid final three races last season, finishing in the top-10 in all three and leading 285 laps. Rick and Falco Lombardi look to turn their momentum into a fourth extravaganza Championship in 2020. On the opposite spectrum, the #8 team started the season off strong, but only scored four top-5's since his last win at Atlanta 35 races ago. Ken still managed a 5th place in points due to his unbelievable consistency, but he will need to lead more laps towards the end of races if he wants to be a top-gunner for the crown this season.
Despite the severe engine failures of Tony Pizzaro's #12 team last season, Neil Justice remains the crew chief, and they remain one of the favorites to win the championship. If the DNF totals are cut in half, those championship statistics will turn true in 2020. On the opposite spectrum, David Butterworth led 17 laps last season and is relying on consistency to have a chance at a top-20 this season. It is a contract year for Butterworth, and he'll need to continue his four-race top-20 streak at the end of 2019 to prove he is still the man.
