The Bristol Motor Speedway provides all extremes! Food, beverages, hot dogs, cinnamon sticks, chips, soft crust pizza, pretzels, crab rangoon and more! "We ate at the Chinese buffet across the turn-three grandstand" said super-fan Dick Wisen. "The beef was undercooked, but the duck sauce was a 10 out of 10!" Nobody loves duck sauce more than Ryan Heuser, clinching his third pole of 2025 while attempting to re-take the points lead from Rick Jackson!

Race Recap

Three green flag waves, blinding the drivers with flash-bulbs in the grandstand! "It was like staring at the sun" said Heuser, relinquishing the lead to Matt Raboin after his temporary blindness. Matt and teammate Matthew Dominique would swap the lead during the first stint, with three-wide action creating chaos towards the rear. Title contenders Zach Michael, Craig Lee and Timothy McDonnell battle frantically to fly through the field, struggling outside the top-35.

Matthew Dominique took his first lead of the night on lap-75, getting re-passed on lap-114 after battling Craig Lee, David Butterworth, Donald Stewart and Bink Lucas; mired at the tail-end of the lead lap. Rod Weston's #56 NAPA Dodge took the point one lap later, leading his third race of 2025 in hopes of passing Tony Gunk for 40th in the standings. He wouldn't remain here long, getting re-passed by Dominique the following circuit.

Matt Raboin re-assumes the advantage on lap-122, handing the spot back to Weston before a hard-charging Mark Heron comes into view. Heron enjoyed a career race during the Food City 500 in the spring, leading 92-laps early before dropping to 18th. He would pass Matthew Dominique on lap-137, dominating the remaining stint and lapping the field through 30th-place. Title contenders Zach Michael, Timothy McDonnell and Craig Lee all fell down a lap to the #01 Energizer Chevrolet.

The points leader blows! Rick Jackson suffered a cataclysmic night, crawling to 27th-place after his sub-par qualifying effort. He'd finish dead-last, dropping to third in the standings in a psychological blow from the Gods! Johnny Reed Foley acquired the points lead, standing atop the mountain for the first time since his Championship party at Homestead. He'd ride around inside the top-20, with Mark Heron capturing his first career Halfway-Bacon Bonus!

An Alan Nesfeder crash on lap-298 brings out the second caution flag. An impressive low-attrition night under the lights, with Nesfeder and Zakk Miller making contact entering turn-1. Title contender Tony Pizzaro swerved high, slapping the #78 radiator-first but continuing on through. A backstretch spin by Geno Sphere nearly took out Alex Crapser, eventually finishing an impressive seventh despite limited speed all night. He and Matt Raboin were the only two title-men to finish inside the top-10, rubber-banding the standings with seven races left.

Ryan Heuser blows! A horrid break after the Rick Jackson detonation, failing to finish his second straight event after duel-victories at Richmond and the Southern 500. Despite the horrid luck, the #138 NOS Energy Chevrolet only fell to fourth in points , still a race-distance from leader Johnny Reed Foley. Dan Johnston and Michael Henson also fell to the gremlins, dropping to 32nd and 33rd in the standings. Henson stands just 36 points ahead of Ben Geer for 36th in owners points, hoping to keep the Shake N' Bake Racing team afloat with a guaranteed spot in the Daytona 500.
