Ken Pettit's "Smoker's or Choker's" campaign nearly won him the title in 2024. Now he's on the Daytona 500 pole! He and Quick-Silver counterpart Craig Lee hope to continue their Speedweeks' success with a 200-lap, $10,000,000 check and a picture with Mrs. SPAM in victory lane. Lee has won everything so far, even gridding for the first Duel before officials rolled him away. "I ate one of those "Devil Burritos" during the first race." said Lee. "It cauterized my insides and scorched my bloodstream, but we still got the job done." Hopefully the #101 team can pull off the feat. Last year's winner Alex Crapser grids 16th, with CFM teammates Johnny Reed Foley and Timothy McDonnell rounding the rear.

Mike Carroll is in shape: the shape of a big oval! Ice water flows through his veins, venturing to his first Daytona 500 attempt since 2020. Doug Spark, Tony Gunk and Rod Weston will make their debut. The pay-per-view "SPAM Cam" will show Carroll's escapades throughout race, hoping for redemption from his DNQ just four years ago. "I've got my lucky lid on my dashboard" said Mike, relishing in his new opportunity. "If I crash it might slice a body part or three, so I'll just not crash." He will start 9th, just ahead of miracle-man David Courtney; the only Bonanza regular to make the show.
