Grand Marshall Randy Dobbins waves the green flag! His last two top-5's came here in 2023, watching his good friend Scott Jackson rebound from a disappointing 41st-place effort in the 500. Jackson, Timothy McDonnell, Ken Pettit, Zakk Miller, Dave Miller, Adam Crapser and cousin Rick Jackson all hope to rebound after their 30th-or-worse results. They'll compete with Atlanta dominator Johnny Reed Foley; sweeping the races last year while mastering the previous five:

An eighteenth try gives Ryan Heuser the prize! His quest for the "500" crown was the undertaking of the century, leaving the New England trophy room empty since Daytona's debut event in 1960. He, Craig Lee, Johnny Reed Foley, Tony Pizzaro and Matthew Dominique look for their second-straight top-5 to begin the year, traveling up I-75 in practice for the Cracker Barrel 500 event. "I raced Molemar up the turnpike" said Steve Inkman. "We missed our breaking point at the toll booth. Fortunately it was 2 AM the cops were asleep!". Steve qualified for the 46-car field, joining Mark Heron in their 2025 season debut. Craig Lee and Rick Jackson occupy the front row.
